Continuously display the charging current or battery voltage on the LCD digital meter. Automatically indicates the charged condition of your battery on the LED bar graph. The Sunforce 60022 30 Amp Solar Charge Controller prevents overcharging of 12-volt batteries. It is intended for use with 12-volt solar panels, and can handle up to 30 amps of array current and up to 500 watts of solar power. The controller will continuously display the charging current or battery voltage on the LCD digital meter, and also automatically indicates the charged condition of your battery on the LED bar graph. 2. The most important function of the solar panel is to charge the battery and provide battery status which is vital to the user.
Therefore, battery monitoring is the primary function of our controllers. Our "smart" controllers are designed to protect and monitor your battery. A charge controller is required to prevent over-charging battery and short circuit the solar panel diode under load. Will work with 12V or 24V system. Up to 150W panel for 12V. Solar panel installation is calculated based on winter requirements. Summer sun can produce up to 3 times as much power compared to winter which WILL overcharge the battery! The electronic circuit is equipped with a microcontroller that provides high-efficiency charging technology together with a number of outstanding status display, warning and safety functions. The temperature-compensated three-stage PWM charging method (boost - equalization - float) is adjustable to sealed and vented lead-acid batteries. Also allows an either SOC or voltage controlled low voltage disconnect function. |
