Well-proven OEM quality
Special lubricant provides proper fitting and problem-free operation. RAM powergrip clutches are ideal for factory performance cars that are predominately street driven, but may see the track once or twice a year. Powergrip is also a great option for increased service life in commercial and off road vehicles. Each powergrip set contains an oem or better pressure plate, Powergrip clutch disc, release bearing, and alignment tool. Disc friction materials may vary within applications between Kevlar composite, metallic, or premium organic. Because the Powergrip disc provides increased holding power by using a higher coefficent of friction material, some chatter may occur. RAM powergrip is a big step up in performance with 30% more holding power overstock, and up to 60% more capacity in the Hi-clamp HD sets. High coefficient friction materials give crisp engagement and clean release on shifts. Expect some low chatter with stock gearing. |

Built for the (98-02) Chevrolet Camaro... Until now, there has been a drivability, maintenance and longevity trade-off with clutches built to handle 700-1500 ft lbs tq. The revolutionary new SPEC Super Twin has set a new standard offering near-stock drivability, tremendous life expectancy, a no shimming/setup bolt-in installation and maintenance free operation. With all billet construction, these units are smooth and quiet. The super twin is constructed with aircraft grade aluminum and high carbon billet steel milled to an industry leading .001 inch for perfect balance and actuation. Friction is provided by dampened, full-faced carbon graphite discs. Organic or full metallic options are available. Torque capacities upwards of 1500 can be realized depending on disc options. Flywheel and track-spec hardware are included in each kit. All units include flywheel, high strength bolts and bearings. Installation is bolt-in with no shimming or setup required.*Note: Most kits come with pilot bearing, throwout bearing and allignment tool. |
