1. The oxygen absorbers we sell both consist of an air proof package holding either 100ea 100cc oxygen absorber packets or 100ea 500cc oxygen absorber packets. Once it is opened, the unused packets must immediately be put in another air tight package. A small mason jar with a new canning lid should do the trick. When used with proper packaging and sealing, the oxygen in the packaging is greatly reduced. Our absorbers bring the oxygen level down reliably to .01% or less. Extends shelf life. Prevents growth of aerobic pathogens and spoilage organisms, including molds. Eliminates the need for additives such as BHA, BHT, sulfur dioxide, sorbates, benzoates, etc. Use with gas flushing / vacuum packaging to absorb virtually all oxygen and absorb any oxygen that may permeate the package. Significantly improves keeping qualities of polyunsaturated fats and oils. Helps retain fresh-roasted flavor of coffee and nuts. Prevents oxidation of spice oleoresins present in spices themselves and in seasoned foods. Prevents oxidation of vitamins A, C and E. Inhibits mold in natural cheeses and other fermented dairy products.

2. Designed for use with high barrier packaging bag, it absorbs oxygen inside a properly sealed package to protect product against mold growth, spoilage, color change and insect damage. Packaging material is composed of layers of paper, cloth and PE. Compared to products of the same type, the thickness of the layers are increased by 20% on the basis of specific requirements of Desiccant Committee in order to increase safety and intensity. Air contains 20% of oxygen. Oxygen is required for all living creatures, but it is the worst thing for preserving food. OUKPAK oxygen absorber completely removes oxygen, and prevents various foods from oxidation, discoloration, growth of mold, insects and aerobic bacteria.
