1. Octagonal 5-1/2-inch Gorgona ashtray. Made of fine porcelain from renowned Versace by Rosenthal. Gold Greek key border, 2 Medusa head medallions. 4 cigarette rests for shared use. Wash by hand; elegantly gift-boxed. Versace by Rosenthal designed this octagonal porcelain ashtray to complement its gold-and-white Gorgona dinnerware. The border of the 5-1/2-inch white ashtray displays a geometrical Greek key design in gold. Two bas-relief Medusa head medallions decorate the rim; one in gold, the other in matte white encircled by a golden Greek key design. Four grooved rests hold cigarettes, allowing several smokers to share the ashtray at once. To help protect the gold, cleaning by hand is recommended. Ever since Versace, Italy's provocative house of haute couture, and prestigious Rosenthal porcelain of Germany teamed up in 1993, the resulting dinnerware and gift collections have made spectacular waves.
