Smoke is broken down into minute, negatively charged particles which are then captured by the positively charged stainless steel lining of dome. No filters are needed. This is the perfect smoking accessory to hold a lot of cigarette butts. The easy clean Bakelite ashtray insert is heat resistant and dishwasher safe. Comes with stainless steel cover. Uses included A/C adaptor for household current or four "C" batteries (not included). Includes 4 extra filters.
