Primacoustic Scandia acoustic foam wall and ceiling systems are made from modular blocks of 3"-thick, high density, open-cell foam. Modular design makes installation easy and yields many pattern configurations that create an individualized look.The Primacoustic Scandia creates a diffuse sound field for a more natural mix environment by breaking up front to back reflections, reducing tiresome standing waves and eliminating flutter echo. Scandia is primarily designed for the rear wall in the control/mix room, but can be used where a mix of absorption and reflection is desirable. We recommend the Scandia be used with the Europa Wall Treatment. 24 wedge-shaped tiles cover a typical wall width of 8' to 10'.Scandia Scatter Blocks are a series of strategically placed acoustical panels that provide an effective solution to rear-wall reflections, standing waves and slap echo while introducing a concept we call soft diffusion. Scandia's soft diffusion allows energy to be reflected back into the room, while some is absorbed, resulting in a room with more 'air' and a more natural, open sound. This provides a viable alternative to true wood diffusion without the high cost that is generally associated with wood construction.Made from high-density open-cell acoustic foam, Scandia scatter blocks are easy to install. From one box you can assemble a variety of wall patterns and create an effective and architecturally attractive solution. |

2. Since wood is a natural product, our Woodsorption range of acoustic wood panels creates a naturally aesthetic solution to noise control. The unique features of these sound absorbing wood panels give a warm organic appearance offering a finish to compliment any area. Surface choices include real wood veneers, wood print laminates and paint finished timber sound absorbing panels. dB Engineering BSC Composite features a non-reinforced loaded vinyl noise barrier septum (middle) with a quilted fiberglass sound absorber on both sides. Ideally suited as an acoustical liner, the inner layer of quilted fiberglass decouples the barrier from the surface to improve its noise blocking ability while the outer layer adds sound absorption to the treated environment. The Full Trap front panel is available in black, grey or beige fabric to suit most color schemes. For those with artistic flair, the front panel may be covered with a second fabric without affecting the acoustical performance. Shipped flat to save freight, the Full Trap comes in kit form with easy to follow assembly instructions using simple household tools. In fact assembly and installation are so easy, most folks can uncrate a Full Trap and have it installed in less than 30 minutes! |
