We are very optimistic about the potential for the Super All Traction II tire. Our dealer base is very excited about being able to offer an improved tire over the Traction Field and Road at a competitive price," says Jeff Wilson, Marketing Manager. The tire is currently offered in four sizes – 18.4-34, 15.5-38, 18.4-38 and 20.8-38 – with more sizes planned to expand the line in 2004 and beyond. The tire has been designed for use on utility tractors, small row crop and cost conscious third fitment positions.
"It is an economy bias tire that performs in the field as well as many premium bias tires for traction while exhibiting antivibration features of the premium bias," says Len Wagner, Manager, Global Field Engineering for Firestone Agricultural Tire Division.
The tire was introduced at the Farm Progress Show in September, and will be a featured item in the line up for Firestone’s well-known Early Bird Program in 2004.
